Love this place, friendly service, food taste so good, live music on Fridays! Great service.
I came here unplanned, drawn in by the Margaritas. It was early so not so busy when I arrived about 5pm. I ordered the original Margaritta when they gave me the menu since that was the point. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla. I make them at home using authentic recipes. I found theirs to be filled with too much cheese, and hard tasteless shrimp. Quesadillas aren't hard to make so I was surprised. To their benefit they did add a side of guacamole and sour cream which helped somewhat but overall it was dry and not good. The Margarita, on the other hand, was delicious. It packed a punch and left me satisfied for my reason for coming in. The service was quick and very pleasant. It wasn't busy as yet, tho people were starting to come in, so not sure how it is during busy time. I would definitely give them another try but order something else to eat next time.
Service wasn't the best. I had to ask multiple times for our chips and guacand for the french fries for my daughter but the food was really food. I had the shrimp taco, and the steak taco both were amazing. Chicken and shrimp fajitas. Everything was seasoned well and taste delicious. Something to note. We went on $2 taco Tuesday. To switch from a corn tortilla to a flour was $1.50 extra.
Absolutely phenomenal. Came on a Wednesday and they had a $5 sangria special and $15 special on large margarita drinks. Food was so good. The yuca empanadas we ordered were chicken and beef. The meat is well seasoned and empanadas had generous amounts of meat. The tacos were all tasty. I especially loved the shrimp tacos. The pollo al jillo comes on an amazing garlic sauce that you want to just drink. The service is very good as well. I wish I remembered the bartenders name. He offered great recommendations and wonderful service
Visit Date: January 1, 2022 I came here to meet my friend Dave for dinner. Dave is a KJ (karaoke DJ) and I've become one of the karaoke fans to be part of his following as well as a good friend of his. I was driving home from New Hope, PA and Dave called and asked if I wanted to have dinner before his 8 PM show in Baldwin. He wants me to be a KJ too but sadly I can't really commit to a show time with the rough schedule I now have, it's something to consider when my son is older though. He also has a show here every Wednesday I think it's from 7 to 10 if you want to come check it out. I'm gonna go this coming Wednesday after an AA meeting. I had the vegan enchiladas, some chips and guac. The vegan enchiladas are amazing. Mexican is one of my favorite foods it's pretty easy to make it vegan as well. They have their own hot sauce at least I think it's their own hot sauce which is pretty good too. The atmosphere is nice and the staff was very nice to us, Tina was our waitress and Ernesto seated us and also waited the table as well. Rockville Centre is full of good eateries and this is a good Mexican place to come to for a meal or karaoke on a Wednesday night.
Great food and service, even with only two servers on a Friday night. Everyone we interacted with was attentive and friendly. This was a last-minute late dinner for 2 people. We both prefer outdoor dining and liked the menu and that the seating is in the back parking lot instead of on the sidewalk on the busy road. We enjoyed everything we ordered - shishito peppers, side of spinach to share, Then we each ordered 3 tacos. My friend ordered 3 different vegetarian tacos and I had 2 different fish tacos and the veg green goddess taco. If you like spice - the house made hot sauce is amazing! We each ordered one of the "double" sized margaritas (only $5 more for the larger soze) and they were massive! The jalapeno margarita was tasty but I prefer more heat. Would definitely come back again.
First spot on Long Island I've tried indoor dining at since Phase 3 & I was actually impressed. There are about 5 tables inside that are well spaced apart so social distancing guidelines are definitely being met. Everything gets served to you in plastic containers which I kinda like as opposed to regular glassware. For the food, the tacos are some of the best on Long Island that I've had. I tried true cauliflower pastor taco which was well seasoned and the pineapple on it gave it a nice sweet finish. I also has the sweet potato taco which was also really good given that not that many places have good veggie taco options. This place def has a lot of options for those who don't eat meat. My friend has the carne asada, al pastor, and crispy fish taco which she enjoyed a lot. I wish I found this place earlier but I cant wait to return to try more of their tacos!
If you know me You know i love tacos. Well the Long Beach taqueria is now in Rockville centre!!! Same deals for Tuesday's! $2 tacos and $3 El Niño shots I ordered the beef empanadas and it's the ground beef you swear by your abuela! It's melt in your mouth good. The green plantains (tostones por los Latinos!!!) comes with the original garlic oil sauce on the side. Ask for more if you need they don't mind! Honestly i don't think i have ever ordered anything i didn't like on this menu. I ISE TO LIVE IN RVC and UBER to Long Beach, the fact that they are super close this is my ultimate Tuesday spot.
